The Little Gym International, Inc. and the owners of each independently franchised location of The Little Gym® ("Franchisees" together with The Little Gym International, Inc., "The Little Gym Family," or "we," or "us") respect the privacy concerns of visitors to the thelittlegym.com Web site operated by The Little Gym International, Inc. ("The Little Gym International, Inc. Web site") and the Web sites operated by each Franchisee that is linked to The Little Gym International, Inc. Web site ("Franchisee Web sites" together with the "The Little Gym International, Inc. Web site," the "The Little Gym Family Web sites"). The Little Gym Family is proud of our information practices, and we want you to know the steps we take to protect the information you may provide to us. If you wish to enroll your child at a The Little Gym® location:
We do not currently accept applications for enrollment on The Little Gym Family Web sites. If you wish to enroll your child at a The Little Gym® location, click on our Find a Location page to find the location nearest you. You may send an email directly to the email address listed for the location you choose. The Little Gym International, Inc. does not collect or retain any of the personal information you may provide in an email message to the The Little Gym® location you choose. The Little Gym® locations are owned and operated by independent franchised business owners. The Franchisee of the location you send an email to will retain your personal information to contact you about enrolling your child.
If, in the future, we offer online enrollment, we will notify you in this space.
If you request a Franchise Information Package:
If you are interested in learning about franchise opportunities with The Little Gym International, Inc., you may complete the franchise information Request Form. If you choose to do so, The Little Gym International, Inc. will collect your name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, and current occupation, as well as similar information about any potential co-owner (if you plan to operate a The Little Gym® franchise as a partnership or similar entity). The Little Gym International, Inc. will also collect certain financial information, such as an estimate of your available liquid capital and approximate net worth. The Little Gym International, Inc. will not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose the information you provide on the Request Form to any Franchisee or any other third party without first obtaining your consent. The Request Form is a request for information only, and is not an application for consideration as a franchisee. To apply, you must complete an Initial Qualification Summary through The Little Gym International, Inc.'s offline ownership process.
If you choose to refer a friend to The Little Gym International, Inc.:
If you know a parent who would be interested in learning more about The Little Gym®, you may refer him or her to The Little Gym International, Inc. by completing the Refer Our Site form. We do not retain the information you provide on this form. The Little Gym Family will use the email address of the parent you are referring to tell him or her of your referral and to provide information about The Little Gym International, Inc. We will not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose the information you provide on the Refer Our Site form to any person or entity outside The Little Gym Family.
If you're interested in working at a The Little Gym® location:
The Little Gym Family does not currently offer an online employment application on any of The Little Gym Family Web sites. We invite you to send us your resume by email or regular mail to the addresses posted on the Careers page located on each The Little Gym Family Web site. If you send your resume to The Little Gym International, Inc., it may share your resume with Franchisees located near you, but it will not rent, sell, or otherwise disclose the personal information in your resume to any other third party. If The Little Gym International, Inc. sends your resume to a Franchisee or if you send your resume directly to a Franchisee, the Franchisee will not rent, sell, or otherwise disclose the personal information in your resume to any third party.
Personal Information as an Asset of The Little Gym International, Inc.
The personal information you provide to us is an asset of The Little Gym International, Inc. If The Little Gym International, Inc. or a substantial part of its business is sold or otherwise transferred to a third party, your personal information may be transferred as well. We will notify you of any transfer of your personal information in connection with such a major transaction.
Cookies
A "cookie" is a small text file that a Web site can place on your computer's hard drive for record-keeping, administrative purposes or to customize your experience. The Little Gym Family does not use cookies except if you are in a Franchisee Web site and choose the "Make This My The Little Gym Homepage" feature. Upon your selection of the "Make This My The Little Gym Homepage" feature on a Franchisee Web site, the Franchisee will place a cookie on your computer so that the next time you type www.thelittlegym.com, you will be directed to your selected Franchisee Web site and not to The Little Gym International, Inc. Web site.
Security
We care about the security of your personal information, and we follow generally accepted industry standards to safeguard it, including use of the Secure Sockets Layer Protocol (SSL) on our franchise information Request Form. Once The Little Gym International, Inc. receives your information, it stores the information on secure computers that are not linked to the Internet. You should be aware, however, that no transmission over the Internet, and no electronic data storage method, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of the personal information you provide to The Little Gym International, Inc. either during its transmission or its storage on The Little Gym International, Inc.'s systems.
