Fun Preschool Activities Your Child Will Love
In these formative years, engaging in a variety of activities not only keeps your child entertained but also supports their overall development. From hands-on crafts and imaginative play to...
Connect with your little one and help them develop strength and motor skills, as you both learn, play and grow together in class.
At The Little Gym, we believe that parent and child gym classes are an important opportunity for parents to stay active and bond with their children. It’s never too early for your little one to start learning and have some Serious Fun. From infant to toddler, our parent and child classes promote early development and provide a strong foundation for your child’s critical first three years. And since you’re along for the ride, you’ll be right there to celebrate every discovery with smiles, hugs, and the occasional adult-sized giggle.
If you’re wondering when you should start taking your little one to parent and child gym classes, the answer is: as soon as possible once your child is 4 months old! The earlier you start exercising with your baby, the better. Studies have shown that babies who get more exercise at an early age tend to be healthier as they grow up. Our parent and child classes are available as soon as you’re ready.

From 4 months old to getting ready for preschool, your child will thrive at The Little Gym. Our programs are developed by experts to help your little one reach their potential at every age.
Our classes for infants, called Bugs, are perfect for babies just beginning to explore the world around them. Through gentle movement activities, sensory play, and bonding with their caregivers, these classes help infants develop early motor skills and build the foundation for future growth.
As your baby starts to gain mobility, our Birds classes offer the perfect opportunity for them to further develop balance and coordination. These sessions encourage babies to crawl, stand, and take those first steps while promoting social interaction and parent-child bonding.
For the toddlers bursting with energy and curiosity, our Beasts and Super Beasts classes provide the ideal environment to conquer new physical challenges. Through obstacle courses, interactive play, and group activities, toddlers will build strength, coordination, and self-confidence.

Early childhood development lays the foundation for a child’s future physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well-being. Here are some of the ways that your little one would benefit from a child program at The Little Gym:
During the early years, your child’s brain undergoes rapid growth and development, forming neural connections that shape their cognitive abilities, learning capacity, and overall intelligence.
Early childhood is when children learn important social and emotional skills, such as empathy, self-regulation, and how to form relationships with others. These skills are essential for managing emotions, and navigating social interactions throughout life.
The early years are a sensitive period for language development. Children learn to communicate, express themselves, and understand others through interactions with caregivers, exposure to language-rich environments, and early literacy experiences.
Early childhood is when the most physical growth occurs. Proper nutrition, adequate sleep, and opportunities for physical activity during this period are essential for establishing healthy habits and preventing health problems later in life.
Early childhood experiences play a significant role in shaping a child’s cognitive abilities and readiness for school. Activities that promote play and creativity lay the groundwork for academic success and lifelong learning.
Building resilience and coping skills early in life helps children navigate challenges and setbacks more effectively. Positive early experiences and supportive relationships with caregivers provide a buffer against stress and adversity, promoting mental health and well-being.
